At Ruffo our main work will always be the Rescue, Rehabilitation and Restoration of abused children.

Rescue

Cases of abused children are reported to RUFFO via our social media pages, office and staff contact number and referrals from local leaders. Once we receive a case we seek to intervene working closely in conjunction with social workers and Police Gender Desk Unit. 

Rehabilitation

After rescue, RUFFO offers counselling services to the victim and victim’s family should they need it. Should the child require medical treatment then RUFFO will make sure they receive the medical treatment they require.

Restoration

Finally once the victim has received adequate rehabilitation RUFFO insures they return home to a safe environment and if no family member can provide this we will make alternative arrangements with one of the orphanages we partner with.
